1. What is this about?
Whatatop is a website that shows you the only and surprising images. Across a simple system of voting and of not such a simple algorithm of selection of images, the portal shows you, of between all the received images, which that have more acceptance. Of course you can submit your own images so you can get then rated, and also you have can enjoy other options such as having a favorites' album, to send electronic postcards, to read and to add comments, etc.

2. Do I have to register with the site?
It is not necessary, but if you do it you will have access to functionalities that need the identification of the user, as the publication of your own images, of comments, or the periodic reception of images by e-mail.

3. Of what does it serve me to submit an image?
Whatatop.com allows you to publish in Internet your images and that should be seen and commented by a big number of users. And, the most interesting thing, each one will obtain a punctuation, a percentage of acceptance according to what the rest of users thinks of her. This percentage is highly trustworthy, thanks to the system of voting and the algorithm of selection of images used.

4. What kind of images can I upload?
Any image, whenever it is legally publicable and of appropriate content. There is not allowed the publication of pornographic, racist, sexist images, of minor, violent or images that they could hurt subceptibilidades. Images will not also be published with sobreimpresiones such as directions of Internet or of e-mail, names, signatures, logos, publicity, etc, although yes they will be allowed sobreimpresiones of date and hour (as those who realize the digital cameras). There will be accepted neither images of dimensions lower than a few minimums (100x100 pixels), nor blurry, dark or veiled images. Of course, it is prohibited, and constitutes a violation, the publication of images of which the corresponding copyright is not shown. 5. How can I submit a picture?
First you have to register. After completing the registering form, the system will direct you to the website already as a identified user. Then, on the main page of whatatop, you have to click on the link Submit a picture. A form opens: there you have to select the file that contains the image and you can add other information as a title, a description, etc.

6. How can I access my pictures?
You can access your pictures by clicking on the link My pictures. You will find this link in ther user's area (that only appears if you have signed in).

7. What does the message "Not enough votes" that appears next to some images in My images mean?
It means that those images have not yet been shown and voted the sufficient times so that its percentage of acceptance be reliable. The most minimum threshold of votes so that an image have a reliable percentage varies dynamically but in no case is too high, so the images finish reaching it with relative rapidity.

8. Some of my images they have remained stagnant with a certain number of votes, positive and negative. Why no longer they receive more votes?
These images have reached a percentage of reliable acceptance but that has turned out to be low or mediocre, and therefore they have not , neither probably they will, be again selected by the algorithm, since the algorithm only selects images with high percentages or images that have have not yet reached the minimum of votes so that its percentage be reliable. As no longer they will be selected, will not receive more votes.

9. I registered but I can´t log in. What am I doing wrong?
It is possible that you have not confirmed your e-mail address yet. For safety motives, the process of registering is not completed until you click on the link enclosed in a message that the system sends to your account of e-mail after completing the register form.

10. I forgot my username or password. What can I do?
After registering, the system sent to you an e-mail of matter Information of your User Account that includes the information of access to your user's account. If you have deleted it or youdo not find it, we can send it to you again. Justc click on the link: did you forget your password? (in the login area), and type your e-mail address in.

11. I got an image uploaded but I can't see it in My images. Why?
Maybe the image has not been checked by a manager yet, or already it it has been, but the manager has decided to push it back. Also it is possible that it has been accepted by the manager and later eliminated by complaints of other users. In any case, you will receive an e-mail with the reason of the rejection, or a notice of his elimination (whenever your configuration indicates that you want to receive this type of messages).

12. One of my images had been already accepted by an administrator, but later I have received a message informing me about his elimination. How is this possible?
The rest of users can alert when an image seems to be inappropriate. It is possible that, on having checked these alerts, we decide to eliminate some image. If it is one of your images, you will receive by e-mail a message with the motive of the elimination (whenever your configuration indicates that you want to receive this type of messages).

13. I don't want to sign in every time a get connected. There is a way to make the site reconigze me every automaticly?
Yes, checking in My configuration the option automatic Login. This way, whenever you access to Whatatop.com from the same computer, the site will recognize you and you will log automatically in. You have also the possibility of marking this option when you introduce your user's name and password to log in.

14. It bothers me that the entry page with the image of the day appears whenever I get connected to the page. How can I prevent it from appearing?
In My configuration, check the option Skip intro. Apart, you have to have the option automatic Login checked. This way, the site will recognize you and will lead you directly to the page of content. You can mark this option in the Intro as well.
